Breathe

Ég sat á honum Sóloni í kvöld og saup rauðvín með ágætum Eistum, og þar var spiluð hraðtaktsdansútgáfa af laginu Breathe af tímamótaplötu Pink Floyd, Dark Side of the Moon.
… For long you live and high you fly
But only if you ride the tide
And balanced on the biggest wave
You race toward an early grave.
Í hröðum danstakti. Svaka stuð.
Ég meina’ða. Syd Barrett hefur ekki verið dáinn í viku. Má ekki leyfa honum að kasta lífsmæðinni í nokkra mánuði áður en hann þarf að fara að bisa við að hringsnúast í snemmbúinni gröf sinni?

Would you mind translating the first sentence of this post for me? We had a few versions of our own, but bits of it still remain unclear :)

I sat at Sólon tonight sipping red wine with fine Estonians [silly immature Icelandic pun here: if the E were lower-case, this would mean "with fine testicles"; this weak pun on the name of your nationality has been around for as long as I can remember], and the place played a fast-rhythm dance version of the song Breathe from Pink Floyd’s breakthrough record, Dark Side of the Moon.
[Melodramatic lyrics involving life and death]
In fast dance rhythm. Party on.
I mean, really. Syd Barrett has not been dead for a week. Can’t we let him catch his expired breath for a couple of months before he has to get busy spinning around in his early grave?

Ah, thanks for clarifying the pun part of it. That’s what left me a bit confused after having consulted two different dictionaries:)
